2nd August 2010 not only marks the beginning of a precious little life and a joyous addition to the family, but also a start, albeit not brand new, to my working life.

I’ve officially graduated from School of Art, Design & Media; NTU!!

The convocation probably wasn’t that big a deal for my schoolmates and I. Thus, for many of us, it was just a ceremony that we go through to show our gratitude towards our lovely and supportive families.

Look Mommy! I’ve graduated!!

What we were really looking forward to was the phototaking session at the end of it! I shall put up some awesome pictures Juningham took of my friends and I.

I’m now positioned precariously at the edge of one stage in life and the beginning of another. And i wonder where my next step will bring me to.

It is the perfect time to make any positive changes. It is the perfect time to take risks. It is the perfect time to set my life’s goals.

It is now.

I’m as scared as I am bright-eyed and eager. But i’m not going to just let life happen to me. Because i’m going to choose it.

It’s 23:58 on the 1st of Jan 2010 now and I doubt I can make this post on time cos i’m so nervous i’m gonna relieve myself and come back to start on my new year post on the 2nd Jan 2010. wait up )

So tell me, 2009 have you been kind to me?

2009 had given me the chance to step foot on many soils. It certainly still feel surreal.
2009 had given me the opportunity to meet great, enthusiastic people. [For e.g. Nana, Samson, Jamie, Yoyo, Random year1 guy i call Ajin]
2009 allowed me to feel a lot of things i never knew i would experience.
Good and bad, I have come to realise that life is fragile, relationships are fragile, beliefs are fragile, dreams are fragile, and love can be fragile.

I have never treated the passing of a year with such high regards, because come every new year, what else will we do other than lead our planned/pre-planned lives that’s supposedly for the sake of ourselves?

But who am I kidding?

2010 marks a life altering year for I’ll don on my suit and head out into the world. Into a world of dreams, money, fame, glamour.. ok, who am I deceiving now. I am no one but a fresh graduate who has no awards in my list. But i pray for my portfolio to be awesome and that lady luck will be on my side sprinkling fairy dust on my faith in the field i’m in.

I crossed into 2010 being slightly high and a pending headache. I drank more than the amount i drank for the past 364 days. I spent the last and few hours of 2009/10 with my significant other’s buddies and we all did our list of new year resolutions.

It was sad because I lost my list the moment 2010 crept in and after the fireworks display because someone cleared the table and swept away my neatly folded slip T.T

I had 4 resolutions but I just couldn’t remember what the 3rd one was. neither could anyone of them who had read it.

We concluded that it proved to be too insignificant to be on the list. I couldn’t agree more but i’ll still leave a space for it just in case it pops back in.

NEW YEAR RESOLUTION 2010

1) Be healthy [sleep early, eat healthy, exercise regularly]
2) Save up [In case I'm jobless when i grad]
3)
4) Build up awesome portfolio

and on my 2010 resolution list for jh and i..

1) get us enrolled for yoga course
2) be more tolerant towards him
3) be more loving and better lover
4) build a concrete future together

In one paragraph, I’d say..

Get a hot body and get a mindblowing career in a great animation/commercial company in SanDiego/Vancouver/SanFrancisco/Anywhere out of Sg.

They are 2 unrelated issues by the way. -..-
